Our members identify weeds from our gardens.

A warm welcome to our newest attendees, Teresa and LeeAnne!  It’s always wonderful to meet new gardening friends.

Holding plates heaped from a buffet of bountiful refreshments, we had a lively and laughter-filled business meeting. We wrapped up our plant sale from the spring and planned for another year of engaging speakers and topics, fun plant exchanges and raffles, and, of course, more food and laughing!  Afterward, we looked at the various weeds from our yards (photos): Virginia creeper, crabgrass, nutsedge, goosegrass, carpetweed, yellow foxtail, pokeweed, paper mulberry, and many others.  Of course we kept eating as we looked at weeds.  Of course!

Come join us in October for our Seed and Cutting Exchange: Tuesday, October 2nd, at 7pm. Questions, comments?  Email flokell@verizon.net and we’ll get  right back to you.
