Archive for February, 2022

Well, dear Capers, this May we plan to be back at the Clubhouse field, in-person! You’re invited to join us there on Saturday, May 14th, 8am-2pm, at the Clubhouse field. More details here.

However so many of our devoted fans liked the online sale site that we’ll be using the sale site a plant catalog, so you can sort and filter plants online, make your selections and print out your list, and bring it to the field to ask for the plants you want specifically. Large items will be available for pre-sale online for pickup at the field: large native trees, camellias, peonies, azaleas, gardenias, lilacs, and hanging baskets. This allows us to tailor our plant orders to the specific demand for these large (and heavy!) plants. Stay tuned to this blog, we will publish the site link as soon as we open it in early April. Thanks again for your continued support of this Cape tradition, the Garden Club is grateful for your patronage!!

If you’re new to gardening or need help selecting plants for sun or shade, or wet or dry soil, don’t worry! We’ll have several expert gardeners on hand to help you! We’ll also be giving away free compost from Veterans Compost that you can take home to enrich your planting holes. With a recipe like that, you’ll be sure to succeed!

Camellias, Peonies, Gardenias, & Lilac pictured below will be available at our 2022 sale in 1-3 gal size:

There’ll be a huge selection as always of native perennials and superstar Cape-grown perennials:

Plus a huge selection of colorful annuals that will knock your socks off!

And we’ll have a huge variety of herb, tomato, and vegetable starts for your summer garden too:

Join us there on Saturday, May 14th, 8am-2pm, at the Clubhouse field. More details here.
